The switched positive is tapped in the subframe from the taillight (brown-white wire); the rear fairing has to be removed for this

rain switch

On the left-hand side of the handlebar – the cable runs to the left of the fuel tank; the upper left fairing has to be removed for this, and it is secured with cable ties
