Chain oiler for the Yamaha XT660R

Yamaha XT660R – year of manufacture 2016
oil reservoir 60 ml
Oil reservoir mounted at the rear on the right side with a home-made bracket. The inward-protruding bolt of the luggage rack or the grab handle is ideal for this.
metering valve
Metering valve mounted with a home-made bracket to an existing bolted joint (inner fender / frame). The underside of the bracket was covered with foam rubber, on which it rests against the inner fender.
nozzle
The nozzle was fitted to the front sprocket cover with the clamp included in the delivery. The chain is lubricated from the inside at the drive sprocket.
switched 12 V supply
The XT 660 R has a switched positive prepared in the vehicle electrics. A 12 V socket is already connected to it. To avoid having to interfere with the vehicle electrics, the “branch connector” included in the delivery was connected to the supply lead of this 12 V socket.
rain switch
The rain switch was mounted on the mirror clamp with the bracket included in the kit.
control unit
Mounted at the rear on the left side with a home-made bracket. As with the oil reservoir, the inward-protruding bolt of the luggage rack or the grab handle is ideal here.
