JT Racelite Aluminium 7075-T6 Race Sprocket (45 Teeth) for Fantic Caballero 500 Models

The JT Racelite Aluminium 7075-T6 Race Sprocket by JT Sprockets is the perfect choice for FANTIC Caballero 500 models from 2021 onwards. Made from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminium, it offers extreme durability at minimal weight – the sprocket is over 480 g lighter than the original steel version. Reduced unsprung and rotating mass deliver noticeably more agile handling, improved acceleration and quicker throttle response – ideal for road, gravel and sporty riding.

Wear

Aluminium sprockets show slightly higher wear than steel versions due to the softer material. However, our long-term tests show that in practice the front sprocket always wears out first. As a result, using an aluminium rear sprocket causes no noticeable disadvantages over the service life of a complete chain set.

At the same time, the advantages clearly prevail: the reduced rotating mass improves overall dynamics – throttle response becomes more direct, inertia decreases and handling becomes noticeably more agile.

Installation Notes

Before installation, check the chain and front sprocket for wear and replace if necessary.
Install the sprocket using the specified torque and tighten the screws evenly.
Only use the supplied countersunk screws (tightening torque: 25 Nm).
Adjust the chain tension according to the manufacturer’s specifications and check the alignment.
After 50–100 km of riding, check the chain tension and readjust if necessary.
