What does VEKTOR mean?
A vector connects position, direction and movement – making visible what is relevant along a route. VEKTOR applies this principle to everyday motorcycling: it warns you about hazards on your route, records your rides and protects your motorcycle when parked – independently, without a smartphone.

VEKTOR is more than a POI warner: a security system for motorcycles that alerts while riding and protects when parked.
While riding, VEKTOR warns you about speed cameras*, hazards, traffic jams and severe weather – using live data from Blitzer.de, speed camera data from SCDB.info, and severe weather warnings from the German Weather Service. It automatically records your rides** and secures your motorcycle via GPS monitoring. The compact device is permanently installed on the motorcycle and operates independently – without a smartphone.
A setup assistant enables a quick and straightforward start: via the VEKTOR user portal or optionally via the app.
Hazard warnings along your route
VEKTOR warns you along your route about fixed and mobile speed cameras*, traffic jams, accidents, roadworks, obstacles, hazardous locations and severe weather. In addition, warnings for statistically recorded motorcycle accident hotspots can be activated – allowing you to identify the most dangerous sections early enough to react. Alerts are displayed visually via a compact LED head with adjustable RGB LEDs. Colour and light pattern can be individually adjusted for each event type, allowing you to recognise the type of alert at a glance. Speed camera alerts can be disabled in the user account if required.
Route analysis and favourite routes
VEKTOR automatically records your rides as GPS tracks with time and date. Using an optional handlebar button, you can mark interesting locations during the ride with a single press. All rides and saved locations are then visible in your dashboard and can be exported as GPX files.
The route analysis shows your marked favourites, the elevation and speed profile of the tour, triggered alerts as well as GPS and mobile network reception. This allows you to review your last ride in detail or ride the route again.
Frequently used routes – such as your daily commute – can be saved as favourite routes. For each route you can define a time window and the desired event types. VEKTOR then checks independently of your current position whether relevant alerts exist and notifies you before the ride begins via push notification.
Theft protection
The anti-theft mode can be activated via the dashboard. Its behaviour depends on the power supply:
- When powered via the ignition, VEKTOR compares the current position with the last known location every time the ignition is switched on. If the motorcycle has been moved in the meantime, you receive a push notification or email – including the current location.
- With permanent power supply independent of the ignition, VEKTOR continuously monitors the position. You will be notified immediately as soon as the motorcycle moves and can track the live location at any time via the web interface.
Power supply and operation
VEKTOR is powered via USB-C with 5 V and requires only 0.5 watts (100 mA) during operation. Typically, it is connected to a switched 12 V line so that it automatically turns on and off with the ignition. The power supply (for example a USB socket) must be provided by the user and is not included.

No constant alerts – only relevant information along your route, anticipatory and exactly when you need it.
The alert data is provided via an integrated mobile connection. The first 12 months are included in the purchase price. After that, a fee of €3.99 per month or €39.90 per year applies.
*Note: Data for fixed speed cameras is available for 42 European countries (SCDB.info). Live data for mobile speed cameras, traffic and congestion currently covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland (Blitzer.de). The use of speed camera warning functions may be subject to legal restrictions in certain countries or regions. The user is responsible for complying with the applicable regulations. Speed camera alerts can be disabled in the user account. Advance notifications for events on saved favourite routes are independent of active riding and follow the principle of public traffic announcements.
**Note: Route recording and GPS monitoring require location permission and the transmission of position data. This function can be disabled at any time; warnings are not affected and do not require location transmission. Location data is not shared with third parties and is automatically deleted after a maximum of 30 days. Users can also delete the data at any time in the dashboard.
