Installation report by Silvio
Honda X-ADV – year of manufacture 2019
metering valve
After removing the right rear side panel, the metering valve was bolted to the luggage compartment with the supplied angle bracket. The T-piece was housed here as well. The filler hose was routed upwards under the seat through a small hole.
nozzle
The capillary tube meters on the outer side of the rear sprocket and was fixed under the swingarm with the supplied adhesive pad. The chain guard has to be removed for this. The oil line is routed upwards to the solenoid valve by fixing it with adhesive pads inside the swingarm, at the height of the shock absorber, behind the fuel tank. The line could be secured to the frame with cable ties here.
switched 12 V supply
The switched positive was connected to the charging socket fitted as standard in the luggage compartment. Tap the rear right one with the supplied adapter.
rain switch
There is a blanking cap for an additional switch (fog lights) to the left below the LCD display. The rain switch was screwed into the blanking cap after drilling a hole.
