Triumph Thunderbird Sport – year of manufacture 1998
This is how Norbert solved the installation – unfortunately we cannot guarantee that it works correctly, as we were not able to check the installation ourselves.
Oil reservoir 60 ml
Fitted in the former mount of the shock absorber reservoir on the inner fender (with the variable reservoir vent fitted in addition)
Metering valve
Fitted on the inner fender behind the airbox (removed here)
Nozzle
Mounted on the inside of the swingarm, as the swingarm is rounded underneath.
Switched 12 V supply
The machine has a connector for an optional alarm system; switched positive, permanent positive and ground are all available at this connector.
Rain switch
Switch fitted in the instrument panel
Control unit
Under the seat on the inner fender, easily accessible
