Product Description
Many motorcycles have a free connector for auxiliary loads from the factory, switched via the ignition switch and fused separately. Without a matching mating connector, however, it remains unused.

Connection types on the motorcycle

Depending on the manufacturer and workshop literature, the ignition-switched tap goes by different names: switched live, switched positive, terminal 15 or accessory feed. All refer to the same connection, which is switched via the ignition switch and only carries voltage when the ignition is on.
In addition, there is permanent live, which is present regardless of the ignition, and the diagnostic port to ISO 19689.
Connector designs
Some of the variants use Sumitomo connectors. The MT 090 and MT 090-2 series are documented for SUZUKI, YAMAHA and FANTIC, the sealed HM 090 for DUCATI and the HX 060 for KAWASAKI. HONDA uses the V-21100 and V-21330 designs.
BMW uses different systems. The auxiliary socket is connected with a two-pin connector of design 1-1703498-1-PT; diagnostics and accessories use the three-pin Cartool or SZ connector with part number 83 30 0413 585.

On many KTM / HUSQVARNA models, the ACC1 connection with permanent live and ACC2 with switched live are provided as blade terminals. They are directly compatible with the MOFESSOR chain oiler and the CUMPAN Cockpit Assistant without an additional connector. If there are not enough slots, the ACC splitter extends the existing connection. Enduros have no ACC2 tap from the factory. There, an adapter plug at the four-pin headlight connector provides the supply, available for models up to 2023 and for models from 2024.
