Chain oiler for the Kawasaki Z1000 R
Installation report by Sebastian
Kawasaki Z1000 R – year of manufacture 2020
This is how Sebastian solved the installation – unfortunately we cannot guarantee that it works correctly, as we were not able to check the installation ourselves.
Oil reservoir 120 ml
The metering unit is mounted under the seat, on the right-hand side of the frame in the direction of travel (with the variable reservoir vent fitted in addition).
Metering valve
Directly at the mounting point of the central shock absorber – the hose comes from above, out of the compartment under the seat, and continues below along the splash guard to the inside of the swingarm. From there to the outside of the rear sprocket.
Nozzle
At the rear sprocket, outer side, hose routed on the inside along the left swingarm to the central shock absorber (metering valve). The fixing materials from the delivery were used for this.
Switched 12 V supply
On both sides behind the side panel there is a three-pin connector and a two-pin connector. Here the connector was fitted into the three-pin connector housing with an additional pin.
